CRAZY HORSE, S.D. (AP) – The Crazy Horse Memorial will host a journalism workshop for American Indian high school students in April.

Journalists and educators from around the country will volunteer their time April 19-23 to teach a condensed course about the fundamentals of journalism.

Students will report and write articles, take photographs and produce multimedia projects that will be published online and printed in a newspaper.

There’s no cost, but students must be selected through an application process. High school juniors and seniors will be given preference.
