The history of American Indians is best told by those who have learned the stories from tribal elders.  Each legend is filled with wisdom and truth, as well as humor and compassion.

A grant from the Charles W. and Pauline K. Flint Foundation to Tulsa City-County Library’s American Indian Resource Center will bring folklore to life through “American Indian Storytelling.”  These programs are presented in conjunction with Tulsa City-County Library’s children’s summer reading program.
