RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) – A South Dakota actor has a role in the sci-fi western "Cowboys and Aliens'' released this weekend.

KEVN television reports that Moses Brings Plenty did a meet-and-greet this weekend at a Rapid City movie theater.

Brings Plenty was born on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and has since been involved in projects ranging from History Channel documentaries to musical performances as part of the Native American musical group Brule.

Most of the ``Cowboys and Aliens'' filming was done in the Southwest, but Brings Plenty hopes more films make their way to South Dakota.

Brings Plenty will also make an appearance this September on Spike TV's ``Deadliest Warrior'' series.
