Tulsa to welcome Rita Rudner, Paul Reiser

TULSA, Okla. – Award-winning TV personalities and comedians Rita Rudner and Paul Reiser will perform March 2, 2013, at the Osage Event Center, Tulsa.

A regular guest on both Late Night with David Letterman and The Tonight Show in the 1980s, Rita Rudner’s first solo HBO special, Rita Rudner’s One Night Stand, was nominated for several awards. In 2008, Rita Rudner: Live from Las Vegas was PBS’ first ever stand-up comedy special.


Rita Rudner performs at The Venetian, where she has sold more than 1 million tickets and for 10 years has become the longest-running solo show in the history of Las Vegas. She has been named Comedian of the Year nine years in a row.

In the spring of 2012, she performed in the play, Tickled Pink, named after her book, which received a Grammy nomination for its audio version. She also wrote best selling non-fiction books, Naked Beneath My Clothes and Rita Rudner’s Guide to Men.


Emmy-nominated actor and star of the hit NBC TV Series “Mad About You” Paul Reiser has received Golden Globe, American Comedy Award and Screen Actors Guild nominations.


His most recent book Familyhood is a follow up to Babyhood and Couplehood, his first book which sold over two million copies and reached No. 1 on the New York Times bestseller list. His numerous successful film roles include Diner, Bye, Bye Love, The Marrying Man, and The Thing About My Folks. He played a detective in 1984's Beverly Hills Cop, a role he reprised in the 1987 sequel, Beverly Hills Cop II.
