Navajo writer release free download of e-book

ALBUQUERQUE – Navajo writer Rutherford Ashley has released his latest e-book, titled A Navajo Scrapbook (Indigenous Quill, 2013). The e-book is available in the Amazon.com Kindle store as a free purchase for a limited time promotion (11/18/13 to 11/22/13) to kick off the holiday season.

“I went the Kindle route for this book so the work could be exposed to a world-wide audience of book lovers," said Ashley. “The work is very conventional or easy to read … which is important because my goal is to give people a great experience.”

According to the Ashley, the promotion is not only an early Christmas gift to readers worldwide, but a time for the media or reviewers to obtain a free digital copy of A Navajo Scrapbook. The book will be available in paperback in late summer 2014.
