Newly Signed Spencer Battiest Performs Live at Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood, FL

 

Hollywood, FL, May 12, 2014 – Hard Rock International has recruited Spencer Battiest, R&B/Pop artist and member of the Seminole Tribe of Florida, as the newest artist under the Hard Rock Records label. To celebrate his new record contract, Battiest made a special appearance at Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood, FL at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Friday, May 9, 2014, where he performed his first single “Love Of My Life.”

Battiest is a member of the Seminole Tribe of Florida, and the first Native American artist signed to Hard Rock Records.  Battiest, grew up singing gospel music and hymns in Miccosukee, Creek, and Choctaw before turning his sights on Pop and R&B. In 2007, Battiest opened for Aerosmith, Sting and The Police, performing for an audience of more than 100,000 people at the Hard Rock Calling music festival in London’s Hyde Park.  This past year, Battiest collaborated with award- winning filmmaker Steven Paul Judd (Kiowa/Choctaw), in creating the music video for his latest hit single "Love Of My Life."

About Spencer Battiest:

Spencer Battiest, a Seminole Indian from Florida, grew up singing gospel music and hymns in Miccosukee, Creek, and Choctaw before turning his sights on Pop/R&B. In his vast career, he has performed live on ESPN, ESPN2, HBO, and Showtime. He’s opened for Aerosmith, Sting and The Police and performed in London’s Hyde Park for an audience of over 100,000.
