The Rosebud Sioux Tribe Diabetes Prevention Program calls all residents on the Rosebud Reservation for united efforts on raising awareness on diabetes and pre-diabetes.

The call goes out to all of our mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, aunties, and community members all over our land who have pre-diabetes and don’t even know it. Also to those at risk for developing type 2 diabetes. Let’s unite as Native People and walk together in support of our own nation.

Native American Diabetes Awareness Day!                                                                                      November 30th, 2010 @ 10 am ~ Where: Anywhere you are!

The RST Diabetes Prevention Program calls upon all Rosebud residents to join them, to promote and organize a massive awareness walk on November 30th, at 10:00am.  Not just a walk, not a global walk or national walk, but a Native American Awareness Walk in our communities. If we can unite as Native people, pray, and work together we can defeat this disease…
