SEATTLE (AP) – The King County medical examiner says the actress Misty Upham, known for her roles in “August: Osage County” and “Django Unchained,” died in October of blunt force injury of the head and torso.

The office updated its investigation on Wednesday and said the manner of death is undetermined. An official says blunt force injuries could happen for multiple reasons.

The 32-year-old Native American actress died in the Seattle suburb of Auburn on Oct. 5. That’s the day her family told police that the Native American actress was suicidal. Relatives reported her missing the next day.

A family friend found the body in a ravine while a group of friends and family were searching in the area.

Auburn police have said there was no evidence of foul play. However, Upham’s father has said he doesn’t believe she committed suicide.
