Standing Rock reservation death investigated

FORT YATES, N.D. (AP) – The Bureau of Indian Affairs says it is investigating the death of a man on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation.
Authorities say 33-year-old John Taken Alive of McLaughlin, S.D., was struck by a car and killed near Fort Yates on Sunday. Fort Yates is on the part of the reservation that lies in North Dakota.
The BIA did not immediately release other details.
