BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has awarded more than $550,000 in grants for reservation housing and historic site restoration in North Dakota.
The state's congressional delegation says the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe is getting about $264,000 and the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation $292,000.
The foundation will use the money for renovation and expansion of historic property in Medora.
