OKMULGEE, Okla. – The Muscogee (Creek) National Council will take the oath of office for the Palen-Cenvpohkaken (18th) Session of the council on Jan. 4 at 10 a.m. in a Special Session called by the current Speaker, Samuel S. Alexander.

National Council representatives serve four-year terms and National Council sessions are two years. During the inauguration, the Council will elect officers, who will then be in place for the Jan. 25 Quarterly Session.

The following representatives have been certified by the records of the MCN Election Board and may take office in the Palen-Cenvpohkaken (18th) Session of the National Council:

Creek District: Seat A - David Hill; Seat B – Dode Barnett

McIntosh District: Seat A – Darrell Proctor; Seat B – Adam Jones III

Muskogee District: Seat A – Pete Beaver; Seat B – Joyce C. Deere

Okfuskee District: Seat A – Franklin Coachman; Seat B – Mitch Jack

Okmulgee District: Seat A – David Nichols; Seat B – James Jennings

Tukvpvtce District: Seat A – Shirlene Ade; Seat B – Thomas Yahola

Tulsa District: Seat A – Robert Hufft; Seat B – Lucian Tiger III

Wagoner/Rogers/Mayes District: Seat A – Johnnie Greene; Seat B – Mark Randolph
