The Delaware Nation is accepting applications for a Transitional Services Coordinator for their Vocational Rehabilitation Program.

The program serves 8 counties, with offices in Oklahoma City and Anadarko.

Ideal candidates preferably have at least a bachelor’s degree in psychology, education or related field, experience working with Native Americans and experience working with individuals with psychological and/or physical disabilities. Candidates must be able to multi-task, use standard office equipment efficiently & effectively, be a team player and be personable.

A Transitional Services Coordinator is responsible for assisting the VR Counselor with tasks associated with guiding youth with disabilities through the transition from high school to either higher education or employment, which may include researching and applying for training, developing job search skills, resume preparation, job development, job placement and relationship-development with employers. Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills required.

Must be able to pass background check, drug test and adhere to Delaware Nation personnel policies, including driving policy.

The Delaware Nation utilizes Native American preference as allowed by federal law.
