CARNEGIE, Okla. – The Kiowa Tribe’s election board has announced polling places for this weekend’s election.

Polling sites for Saturday include the Bureau of Indian Affairs’ Anadarko agency conference room, the El Charro restaurant’s conference room at 617 N. Carnegie Street in Carnegie, Okla., the dining hall of Hunting Horse United Methodist Church in Lawton, Okla., and Barger’s Carpet Store at 500 S. Main St. in Hobart, Okla.

The election board has been locked out of its office at the tribal complex since the aftermath of a June 2011 recall election. Absentee ballot mail-outs and voter registration information for Saturday’s election is based off of the voter lists the election board has access to.
